FOZ Race
Cars Congratulates Customers On Strong Start To 2008

Hud Horton scores his third victory of the
season in his new FOZ Race Car
Hamilton, OH—June
4th, 2008—FOZ
Race Cars customers have enjoyed a strong start to the 2008 season with both
wins and top three finishes during the month of May.
FOZ Race Cars are off
to a strong start in the Midwest. Topping the wins list in the 2008 season
is Jamie ‘Hud’ Horton. Despite splitting his time between full-size sprints
and midgets, Horton has scored 3 victories in the young 2008 season. The
first win came in Florida during the Winter Nationals where he scored a
victory at Hendry County Speedway. Horton scored another victory as racing
returned North where he scored a victory in the opening round of the Midwest
Mini Sprints Winged Warrior Tour at
Moler
Raceway
Park.
Horton’s most recent victory came during the tour’s second stop at Moler
Raceway Park. 2007 A.M.S.A. champion, Jason Soudrette scored back-to-back
second place finishes at
Osgood,
Indiana
and Twin Cities Raceway Park to earn the championship in the Grassroots
Racing Revival. Scott Fasse has also registered two top three finishes with
a pair of third place finishes at Twin Cities Raceway Park during the month
of May.
FOZ Race Cars has also
been enjoying success on the West Coast at the hands of youngster D.J.
Snyder. Despite running his 600cc powered car against either side-winders
or 1000cc mini sprints, Snyder has posted not only top five finishes, but
victories. Snyder recently registered a second place finish in competition
with the Western Slopes 1200s. Snyder commented on his website after his
first outing in the FOZ Car, “I feel really good compared to last year.
Driving this FOZ Race Car is like going from a '52 pickup to a '07
Corvette. From entry to mid-corner to exit, the handling of this chassis is
excellent. Thanks, Papa!!"
Rob Wilkerson has also
put his FOZ Race Cars 1000cc mini sprint in the top 3 in competition with
the Colorado
1200cc Outlaws. Wilkerson’s top three finish came at El Paso County
Speedway. The Wilkerson family will soon be a FOZ Race Cars family as they
recently took delivery of another FOZ Race Cars’ mini sprint chassis for his
younger brother.

Justin Phillips earned his second victory in a
FOZ during the month May.
FOZ Race Cars have
also been well represented on the East Coast where Justin Phillips is
campaigning another FOZ. On May 17th at Whip City Speedway
Phillips earned his second victory in a FOZ Race Car in 1200cc mini sprint
action.
This promises to be a
break-out year for the FOZ Race Car’s mini sprint as several new competitors
have taken to the track including Greg Nicholas, Kevin Roberts Sr., Beau
Stewart, Stormy Steinhauer, Shane Hayslett, Jamie Paul, Pat Potter and many
others. Best of luck to all the FOZ Race Cars’ pilots during the 2008
season. For more information on FOZ Race Cars, call 513.874.2034 or visit
